Group Announcements
Club Meeting January 8, 2010
Thank you to those who attended the last meeting of the 2009 Fall Semester. We have come to a consensus on those competitions each student would like to participate.

The next meeting will be Friday January 8, 2010 the first week we return from the winter holidays. This meeting is important as the regional competition has been opened for registration and several competitions will take place February 15, 2010. The competitions which will be held at the regional event are Job Interview,  Job Demonstration A, and Computer Maintenance Technology. All members who are competing in these contests need to be prepared soon. Also, all NLSC forms (the forms I provided the members with weeks ago), copies of your insurance cards, and all registration paperwork will need to be completed and returned no later than January 15. Anyone failing to return this documentation will forfeit their registration and the alternate member will attend if available. The deadline for all fees and forms to be submitted is January 19.

This meeting will take place in Mr. Hodgson's classroom (CTE-C). Please see Mr. H for any forms you need to complete prior to the meeting. This includes any field trip forms which will be required as well. The field trip information has to be notarized so this will require you to complete this in a timely fashion. Please be prepared to stay until at least 5:00 and we are planning to have weekly meetings starting the second week of January to begin competition practice. Those members who fail to attend will forfeit their competition.

Inclement Weather Update!!!

Due to the possibility of snow on Thursday and Friday please be aware of the following:  If KCS determines school should not be in session Friday, we will reschedule for Tuesday Jan 12, 2010 at 3:30. We must meet immediately as this registration is only open for a short time. Failure to register for regional will prevent us from attending state.
